A Selection from the Lyrical Poems of Robert Herrick

221. TO BACCHUS: A CANTICLE

     Whither dost thou hurry me,
     Bacchus, being full of thee?

     —Thus a thousand mistresses
I have now: yet I alone,
     Having all, enjoy not one!
